Budva, Montenegro, 9-10 Oktobar 2024 – The Energy Week Western Balkans 2024 okupiće ključne aktere iz cijelog regiona kako bi se pozabavili budućnošću energetike na Zapadnom Balkanu. Ova dvodnevna konferencija čiji je domaćin i ove godine Crna Gora organizovaće diskusije na visokom nivou, panele i B2B sastanke, fokusirajući se na prelazak sa fosilnih goriva na obnovljivu energiju, otpornost mreže i tržišne izazove.

The event will kick off with opening addresses from Duke Gim from UGT Renewables, and JY Lee from Hyundai Engineering Co., both representing the Gigawatt Partner of the conference. They will be followed by distinguished speakers such as Milutin Đukanović, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG), and Marko Kubatlija, Director of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Day one will feature the Ministerial Opening Panel, focusing on Regional Integration Strategies for Renewable Energy Advancement. The panel will include key figures such as Admir Šahmanović, Montenegro’s Minister of Mining, Oil, and Gas, Petar Đokić, Minister of Energy and Mining of the Republic of Srpska and Christopher Sheldon, Country Manager for Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro at The World Bank. Following this, expert-led discussions will tackle critical themes, including the transition from coal to renewables and the investment in grid resilience.
A notable highlight is the Gigawatt Night on the evening of 9th October, powered by UGT Renewables and Hyundai Engineering Co., offering networking opportunities in a vibrant setting.
Day two will continue with engaging discussions on regulatory frameworks for renewables, a fireside chat with Daniel Calderon, Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Alcazar Energy, and sessions focused on financing energy projects and ensuring investor confidence in the region.
